Ensuring Chart's Success:  Joins metal parts to form a permanent bond, usually in a repair capacity. Performs tasks as asked by supervisors in shop in Franklin, IN, or at job sites in the field.

What your Day to Day Activities Will Be:

  • Weld metal components and parts using specialized equipment such as gas welders and gas torches in flat, vertical, and/or overhead positions

  • Use electrical currents to create heat and bond metals

  • Plan work by interpreting blueprints

  • Observe tests on welded surfaces to evaluate weld quality and conformance to specifications

  • Perform work under direct supervision

  • Handle basic issues and problems, and refer more complex issues to higher-level staff

  • Be able to operate hand tools/ machinery used during welding

  • Travel required


Your Professional Experience Should Be:

  • Possess beginning to working knowledge of subject matter

  • 0 to 2 years of experience in a welding capacity

  • Welding certifications preferred

  • Be able to aqcuire a TWIC card

  • Be able to lift 50 pounds

  • Be able to climb ladders and work on elevated areas


Your Education Should Be

  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent

  • Vocational school education a plus

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
