Patient Care Rep. - Medical Assistant

The Patient Care Representative performs a variety of duties related to providing patient care.


Includes but not limited to:


Interviews patients regarding medical concerns, measures and records vital signs, obtains patients medical histories, performs routine medical procedures, transcribes physician's medical notes into patients charts, cleans and steralizes instruments, maintains a clean work area, reviews physician's orders and lab requests and follows up as needed, communicates test results to patients as directed, calls in prescriptions/order refills as approved and directed, assists in patient education, and fulfills the requests of patients and physicians, also performs blood draws as needed.


Requirements:



  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

  • Six months to one year of experience

  • Medical Assistant certificate


 

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
