Job Duties May Include:
Accomplishing warehouse human resource objectives by selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising job contributions; recommending compensation actions; adhering to policies and procedures.
Meeting warehouse operational standards by contributing warehouse information to strategic plans and reviews; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; identifying warehouse system improvements.
Meeting warehouse financial standards by providing annual budget information; monitoring expenditures; identifying variances; implementing corrective actions.
Moving inventory by scheduling materials to be moved to and from warehouse; coordinating inventory transfers with related departments.
Delivering supplies and equipment to departments by receiving and transferring items.
Maintaining storage area by organizing floor space; adhering to storage design principles; recommending improvements.
Skills
Qualifications:
Ability to work in a fast paced environment with strict productivity standards
Forklift experience Ability to do physical labor as required
RF and computer experience.
SAP knowledge a plus but not required
Safety conscious
Ability to multi task to complete assigned work schedule.
Excellent planning skills with flexibility to make frequent adjustments as needed.
Proactive rather than reactive.
Strong leadership skills.
Leadership by example with a high standard of personal accountability
Flexibility to work either of 2 shifts.
8 am to 4:30 pm and 8 pm to 4:30 am.
This position does require a shift rotation.
Ability to work daily OT and some weekends.
Currently working 50
hours per week
Competitive personality and positive attitude with a desire to lead a team toward achieving set goals
Ability to recognize and coach employees in areas where development is needed.
