Machine Builder/ Assembler

A family-owned business that designs custom tooling, machinery, and automation systems for some of the world's largest companies, is actively seeking a Machine Builder/ Assembler who is passionate about the art of crafting top-tier products for a variety of industries (automotive, defense, HVAC, etc).
Our automation services include machine design, systems integration, machining and fabrication, product and process development, as well as vision and robotics integration.
POSITION SUMMARY The Machine Builder Installs, builds and repairs machinery, equipment and electrical systems for specialty machines, following specifications, blueprints, manuals, and schematic drawings through the use of using hand tools, power tools, hoist, crane, and measuring and testing instruments.
Essential Functions:
Visually inspects and tests machinery and equipment, using electrical and electronic test equipment.
Listens for unusual sounds from machines or equipment to detect malfunction and discusses machine operation variations with supervisors or other workers to diagnose problem or repair machine.
Dismantles defective machines and equipment and installs new or repaired parts, following specifications and blueprints, using precision measuring instruments and hand tools.
Cleans and lubricates shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery.
Installs and repairs electrical apparatus, such as transformers and wiring, and electrical and electronic components of machinery, equipment and computer controls for machines being built.
Assembles and installs related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment and repairs and replaces gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and related equipment.
Install machinery and equipment according to blueprints and other specifications.
Fabricate and repair machine housings and guards using steel plate, sheet metal and castings which are machined, welded or fabricated with bending equipment.
Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years direct work experience related to custom assembly and/or machine building in a manufacturing environment.
Qualified worker must have a minimum of a high school diploma, preferably with trade school, or vocational education.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
