Mechanically inclined and a strong background with industrial machines, this person will be responsible for maintaining and repairing our production lines, including conveyors, punch machines, paint-lines etc.
Responsibilities include:
Hands on maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of all facility machinery and equipment Hands on maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of all process hand tools, including electric drills, saws, grinders, etc.
Hands on maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of facility, including, but not limited to, dock doors, locking systems, minor plumbing etc.
Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical failures in all manufacturing equipment Accurately document necessary repairs and maintenance scheduling Report problems to the facility Supervisor and convey appropriate action to be taken Qualifications include:
Mechanically inclined - ability to use common mechanics tools A basic welding knowledge Willing to work overtime as needed, including nights and weekends Ability to stand/walk on concrete floors for up to 12 hours Ability to lift 50 pounds Ability to read and use mechanical and electrical schematics for troubleshooting Knowledge of Forklift repair is a plus.
Strong communication skills Experience/Skills required include:
2 -4 years of experience in general machine operation maintenance preferred.
2-4 years of experience with Industrial machine operation maintenance preferred.
General knowledge of Microsoft Office and internet navigation preferred.
An ability to multi-task with high priority projects, in addition to normal responsibilities preferred.
Must own steel toe shoes.
