The Store Manager is responsible for daily operations within the store as well as team morale, performance, and customer experience.
They are part of a team environment geared toward exceeding customer expectations within the store.
Scheduling Expectations:
Full Time Hours (no less than 32 hrs per week, more likely 40 hrs per week) Flexibility- Store Managers are responsible for staffing the store and managing employee call offs, if they cannot cover the shift themselves and still have a hole in the schedule, then they need to notify the Operations Manager immediately.
Essential Functions:
Follow proper cash handling procedures and giving correct change Receive and stock all incoming deliveries to the liquor store Responsible for keeping the store clean and organized.
Complete daily and weekly cleaning schedule.
Pick up trash, sweep, dust, and mop regularly.
Always provide the highest quality of service to the guest while anticipating and exceeding customer expectations.
Encourage customers to join the Loyalty Program Answer questions about products and upsell customers Answer the telephone answering all questions from the customer Must communicate properly and effectively with the customer, associates, and managers.
Daily execution of store operations and all daily tasks including:
o Morning Bank Reconciling o Ordering and Inventory Counts o Receiving and Logging Invoices o Making Daily Bank Deposits o Ensuring Closing Cleaning Lists are Completed o Responsible for proper floor displays and appropriate merchandising plans Passing Unannounced Monthly Quality Inspections Store Retail Associate and Assistant Manager development and training Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures Manage store inventories, assess product gaps, and manage loss prevention Merchandising; including expectations for stocking, organization, pricing, etc.
Scheduling store staff Recruiting and Interviewing Store Level staff Attend work on time as scheduled Practice safety standards and keep the property safe for guests and fellow associates.
Report unsafe conditions and suspicious activity to Operations Manager or proper chain of command Lift, carry, or otherwise move 25lbs regularly or 40lbs occasionally Regularly required to stand, walk, reach, use hands, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb, talk, and hear Must follow uniform guidelines Follow proper key control procedures Able to work independently and by themselves on a shift Adhere to all work rules, procedures, and policies established by the company.
Must stock coolers and shelves daily/nightly before end of shift per store requirements Other duties as assigned Job Type:
