The Store Retail Associate is responsible for restocking items within the liquor store, keeping the store organized and clean, and running the cash register.
They are part of a team environment geared toward exceeding customer expectations within the store.
Essential Functions:
Follow proper cash handling procedures and giving correct change Receive and stock all incoming deliveries to the liquor store Responsible for keeping the store clean and organized.
Complete daily and weekly cleaning schedule.
Pick up trash, sweep, dust, and mop regularly.
Always provide the highest quality of service to the guest while anticipating and exceeding customer expectations.
Encourage customers to join the Loyalty Program Answer questions about products and upsell customers Answer the telephone answering all questions from the customer Must communicate properly and effectively with the customer, associates, and managers.
Attend work on time as scheduled Practice safety standards and keep the property safe for guests and fellow associates.
Report unsafe conditions and suspicious activity to Store Manager or proper chain of command Lift, carry, or otherwise move 25lbs regularly or 40lbs occasionally Regularly required to stand, walk, reach, use hands, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb, talk, and hear Must follow uniform guidelines Follow proper key control procedures Able to work independently and by themselves on a shift Adhere to all work rules, procedures, and policies established by the company.
Must stock coolers and shelves daily/nightly before end of shift per store requirements Other duties as assigned Job Types:
